Back from the camp....

Wonder where have I gone to for the past three days? I have spent my day in a camp with 200 over students of FuHua Secondary..
On the faithful morning of 25 July 2007, the bus brought me back to the nostalgic Jalan Bahtera. Shaking off the moulds on the shirt that says "Instructors", I decided to led this group of interesting people from 3S3 to the wilderness.
Talking about cheers, hmmm... I have forgotten all about them, serious*
In the bus, I met some interesting characters like Aaron, ChongCher, YiLe, YouRen, Jul.. The girls are slightly more quiet so its easy hitting off with the roudy group of guys.

Here, assembled in the MPH, all of them gathered, ready to be send up the high elements. I still remembered me trying to lead my dear group 5 to cheer and they refused to shout out my name.. hahaha. Its ok!!

YiLe, ChongCher & YouRen fixing their harnesses volunteering to be the first to go for abseiling! :) I think the most memorable part is the high elements. Being rusty with the belaying commands and the four steps of belay, I have to step out of this comfort zone to belay my kids of group 5. Nicolas took some time coaching me and running through the steps with me, though a little stressed, I managed to learn it with practice. At first I was a little discouraged, but looking at my dear group 5, God showed me that its all about trust.

ALL ON BOARD!! Hahaha... I can give you Gatsby~ Gatsby~..... Gatsby.. what a cheer.

This is the place they were made to go up and squeeze in one little tile. Fantastic guys! :) I realize that actually this group of people loves to play, they love challenges, loves timing themselves and they are so cute! Everyone of them is like a jigsaw puzzle, carrying different characteristics; when you place them altogether they formed a lovely picture.

After our first night game "Kidnapped" they have gone crazzzzzzeee... On the right is my laodi, Julian & Aaron the complain king!!

That night we played Kidnapped. ALl of them are so spontaneous, running around playing the game. I will never forget the power of unity. They cheered with mouth in their water..Jul led the cheer.

The girls like Jean, YanMin, QingHui and Evon are so cooperative.

I read one of the reflections written by YiLe, I was superbly touched. He said something like he hopes the group will cheer so that Instructor we will make her happy. YiLe thanks alot, your every word is a n encouragement to me. Smiles*

The 3 days were fruitful. The group broke through their fears. I looked back, i missed the instructors. Although I didnt really spend alot of time with them, but like what Pillay says its like home. Camp HA is like home. The every single instructors taught me alot of things. Lastly thank God for Gloria, PeiLing, HuiLing, Pillay, Azri, Veron, Mojo & Steven. Love you guys alot.

Hear me out

Everybody has his/her story to tell... The whole world is crying out for a listening ear, especially so when we are in a cosmopolitan society when things happened simply too fast.. Communication devices increased in the recent years yet amongst lie the irony of lack of true communication. At the end of the day, all else doesn't matter as long as someone cares, cares to slow down a little and listen to the heart crying out for attention.

Some who are vocal, voice their hearts out. Some who are introverted release the language of the heart through words, through blogs, through diaries and other means.. Some express feelings through drawings, songs, dance,the Arts. Some choose to bottle up everything just like a seashell. Which category do you belong to?

I cant deny the fact that being a woman, I too have the tendency to give a reply that requires the other party to infer, read between the lines and to catch the intention behind all the body language. Well that's the Woman--intricate and complex thoughts woven into a being. That would suggest that I belong to the category of the Introvert.

Ever ponder why pair of ears and a mouth is given? That is for us to listen more, to talk less. Listening to others may not be something that all of us like because we are not the limelight of the conversation. But listening is an art. Offer your ear to someone else, it matters to them. It is worth more than anything else.

The Ladies Night !! :)

Wow! yesterday I went out with Shan's friends.. Guess where we went! Marina Square! Had a good dinner at the food court. Rinnie, Shi Hui and Christine. They are so friendly, so glad to have known them. Just so happy yesterday, can relax, talk, eat ice cream!! Woo~ Look forward to meeting them!!

Anyway we went to this very cute ice cream shop which all of us would have notice if you have crossed Billy Bombers. Been eyeing on that shop!

The ice cream is fantastic! GREEN TEA!! Me and Rinnie's favourite! Next time must jio her go chomp chomp try all the dessert! :)

Shi Hui (on my left) is a very nice and interesting girl. Like me, she loves shoes! Forever claiming that she looks like a china woman when she doesn't hahhahah.. Nice person, super bubbly and you will never get bored with her because she has so much things to tell you under the sun. You have brought so much fun to us!

Rinnie is cool! She got Zhen Xue Er's eyes man. heheh.. By the way all of them are social workers! :) I guess in my definition social workers are super patient, hahah, well its time to learn patience from them. I enjoyed myself talking to Rinnie too!! She is very cheerful!

Of course my dear Chunshan, thanks for inviting me for this meeting! :) heheheheh you made my day!
Christine is quite cute too. Very outspoken. wow.. knowing all of them is quite fun! Look forward to seeing you guys!!
