This week has been a fun-filled week! LOL
Let me give you a series of event following last Thursday…

Thursday:
I have been camping at Ah Lu’s room since last Thursday because of the discovery of ONE BED BUG on the bed.. I evacuated from the room ever since. What’s more unimaginable is that I actually took a sick leave to visit a doctor on the bites!!!! I bet if my boss knows that they will faint. But I went through sleepless nights because of the bugs and I can’t work well though. I went to Lilian’s house to sleep…

We are browsing through Ah Lu’s baby photos in preparation for his 21st birthday.. He looked so cute when he was young. Hahaha we were flipping my little sister’s photos too. She looked very cute. AH made a comment, ”She mutated!!!”

Friday: Following that was the awesome CG we had at Grace’s house.

It was our first meeting at Grace’s house and it was one of the best CG I ever had because of a lot of reasons:

1) Presence of God

2)It was really very fun

3)We had a very great worship

4)We had spaghetti

5)Almost all my connect group members turned up

6) Zhen preached a great word

7)Pam drove me HOME!!

On the Friday Night

Its been a fruitful 2 weeks and it has passed so fast without me realizing. Guess where I am now..

You will never guess it. I am at the bus stop of Common wealth Mrt and I am waiting for NR5 because the Electronic board gave false display. Interesting sight to see my bus number disappearing from the board. Lol. I am on my way back from a fantastic CG.
I was given the opportunity to lead the worship. I prayed hard but faith without works is dead, there is much to be improved on and much to be practice on. It was an invaluable lesson taught by Zhen how to lead the people into a time of time worship. I had a good laugh at what I did too. =p I learnt something today hahaha its fun! Thank you Lord for such a great word. Thank God for His guidance. Hahahha =p Can’t help laughing at what I did. Hehehe Nice try Athalia, I am so proud of you. Hehehe.

I am so happy that Kunwu came for CG today. He made the decision.
Stan played well today! I love the praise today ..”Sing Sing Sing!!” He is one of the best guitarists I know. =)I love the praise led by Joanna all the time, she is always full of the joy of the Lord but more than that she carried the heart of praise. JIAYOU Jo, awesome and well done
Today’s Word was such a conviction to me. Freshly baked from heaven, Zhen brought it so closed to our heart, drilled it in. It is on: Having a BIGGER Heart.

I needed to hear that. To love people who are different from me, to love a bit more. There are definitely people whom we find hard to love, people whom we easily could judge or strike them off from our friend’s list. But making a decision to pray for them in spite of our feeling, and to visualize them loving God, confessing until it comes to pass is possible. It just take some effort like what Zhen says, “The proof of the desire is in the PURSUIT”.

Hmm.. Actually I have been wanting to tell this to the someone I know..
To the someone I know..
Thank you for the times you fought so hard to love God..even when circumstances don't allow For the times you care for the friends and would do anything for them...
For the times you took a step of faith to do something you don't dare to do....
For the numerous times you sacrifice yourself to love others...and to love God
For the times you tried so hard until you are so tired...
For the times you bring forth so much joy and interesting things that spice up the life of the others..

I want you to know that...
You are really appreciated..
I am inspired by you...

Proud of him. Really proud of him. It took him courage to finish that production which he had to play the exact role he had to walk right now. BUT he carried great attitude. Great job!

The Best Infotainment Host award: Berlinda Lee

Lee, 31, received two nominations in the same category — Best Infotainment Host — for her sparkling turns in the travelogues Find Me A Singaporean (Season 2) and Come Dance With Me. She won the award for Come Dance With Me.

Come Dance With Me was an entertaining and highly unique show that brought Lee all over the world to learn different styles of dance, from Irish tap-dancing (which nearly busted her ankle) to Japanese geisha dancing. “It was a dream come true for me! I always wanted to be a dancer,” she says. In each episode through her energetic involvement, Lee brought the unusual cultures of these countries to viewers back home.

Personally, I would like to give a standing ovation to the two of them.

Its been more than a month since I last blogged.. Seriously, it takes motivation! =p
Changed the curtains...
Back from a breakfast with my mum on the Toyota Altis on the nice Saturday morning. I love to have breakfast. Lilian knows that. =) Smiles.

Found the summon ticket on the card because Dad didn't put the parking coupon on.. To make matter worse, before I headed home, I used a midnight coupon instead of the normal ones. Dad was fuming beyond words. LOL.. Oops* Sorry for my ignorance. Give a child the room to make mistakes, out of that room springs creativity & lessons..

Have the luxury and the time to watch Marley & Me on my labtop yesterday..
It was a nice show. Speaks of a pup growing up into a dog together with a newly wed ( headed by Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston playing John and Jenny Grogan) till the day it grew old & died, till the day when the couple decided to have kids and till the kids were old... It's a funny sweet movie. I guess I will deem that as a perfect marriage, though imperfect with quarrels yet making its way to perfection between the two... John said something that struck me "Mend it, don't end it"... Very true... So true.. =) Someone I know needs to hear this..

Had a great Mummy's Day celebration yesterday at Uncle's house and he is back from Hong Kong for this occasion. Wide spread of food... (Yums*) Had a chance to once again catch up with my relatives not forgeting my lovely cousins. I missed them Drove the Altis to Dhoby just to send Yang to meet his friends. What a fortunate guy with WeiXin & I being his personal chauffeur...
That sets me thinking... What should I get for Mummy.. *Stress*Roses? Cash? Suggestions??

Earlier in the day...
CG @ Zandy's house. Met new faces with the introduction of the "Chucky Chucky"... Tasted Aunty's healthy macroni.. I love Zan's house. So nice...
Zhen, Bel, Ling & I thought really hard of where to go with the initial plan of going to west coast, and in our hands were 2 basketballs, 1 guitar and our bags... Cladded with t-shirt & shorts, Zhen decided that we shall not go to town to invite weird stares. We came out with an idea. Choose a bus, hopped on the bus, then from there decide where to drop off....
Guess where we were?

The revival prone area.. CLEMENTI WOODS SECONDARY... less than 2 miles away, is our dearest TANGLIN SECONDARY.... the legendary area... =)
Headed to West Coast Park Mall.. Nice little cosy place. We settled ourselves into the comfi seats of New York New York.. and flooded our mouths with the candy flosses, mud pies, ice cream, wafer..... Man.. It got me quite anxious since I am going for the run.. the Passion Run!!

Zhen has a thing with the clay.. She likes the clay. She wanted to paint it.. But highlighted on the board displayed outside the Han's Art Shop, is FOR KIDS... hahahha.
I left them for home since I was having a slight migraine. Boarded the 147 Bus from Clementi so that I can sleep my way back home to ease the pain instead of having to squeeze through the cold train with the crowd and fighting for the O2 supply. So the journey took more than 1.5hrs. Lol.. who cares? I can proudly declare that its a H-O-L-I-D-A-Y! Happy Labour Day! We deserve the REST!!
